Yesterday, while I’m watching the PBA quarterfinals playoffs, I received a text message from my former schoolmate and long time friend. I won’t mention the name, baka tangayin ng kung anong hangin yung bf nya dito eh, mas malaking problema pa, haha. Our long conversation went like this..

Her: Da! My God. We need to talk.
Me: Why? What happened?
Her: Alam mo ba. We had the biggest fight. Dahil sayo! Crazy right? Haha.
Me: Huh? Seriously?
Her: Yeah, sorry. This is embarassing. He’s thinking we’re more than friends. He wanted to break up with me the other night.
Me: Hala! What did you tell him?
Her: If my Mom didn’t talk to him, he won’t listen to me talaga. I told him that we’re just really close. Sabi nya he can’t take it raw that I’m being sweet to other guys.
Me: How long have you been together na ba?
Her: It’s just been three months.
Me: Ngek! Mas matagal pa nga tayong magkakilala, haha.
Her: Oo nga eh. Bakit kasi hindi na lang tayo? Tsk. Lagi ka kasing may gf eh, haha.
Me: Sus! Eh pag single naman ako, ikaw naman ang meron, haha. Teka, kasalanan mo kasi you’re naturally sweet, haha.
Her: Eh namimili naman ako ng taong magiging sweet ako ah.
Me: Haha! So ano ng status nyo ngayon?
Her: We patched things up yesterday but he’s getting back at me now. Kapag laging ganito, ayoko na.
Me: Huh? What do you mean?
Her: He started talking to girls and these girls are crazy over him.
Me: How do you feel about it?
Her: Natatawa. ‘Coz he’s acting like a 5 year old. Tsk.
Me: Haha. Amp, pano na Startbucks naten nyan on Friday?
Her: Eh di Starbucks pa rin! Haha. We’ll stop? No freaking way!
Me: Haha! Totohanin na lang natin yung iniisip nya so we’ll both feel guilty naman.
Her: Oo nga no. To give justice. Hahaha!
Me: Seriously, tell him na kapag nakipagbreak sya ulit sayo, sasaluhin na talaga kita. And if that happens, there’s no turning back na.
Her: Awww that’s so sweet.
Me: Sabihan kaya kita ng iloveyou na makikita nya? Haha!
Her: Ayoko! Gusto ko meant yung iloveyou mo. Haha.
Me: Well . . I like you.
Her: I like you too.
Me: What’s up with that? Haha.
Her: Who wouldn’t like you?
Me: Ahhh.. Now you’re playing safe. Haha.
Her: Haha. God! Magkawave length tayo!
Me: Meaning, we’ll click?
Her: We click already, can’t you see?

Yan lang natandaan ko, and yan lang yung highlights ng usapan namin. Mostly eh kamustahan na lang and kulitan. We talked the whole game, till the next game. Haha. She’s nice and smart. I really like her. I’m back to being the third party guy. It’s fun. Mga patagong text, phone calls, dates, and more. May thrill, sabi nga ng iba, and totoo yun. Wala ring hassle unlike normal relationships kasi definitely no strings attached. I know for a fact that it’s wrong, but at the back of my mind, there’s this something that tells me na don’t stop. I’m enjoying it, no doubt about that.

Well.. say what you want to say and think what you want to think. I know myself and kung saan ako lulugar. I don’t demand any time nor attention, and most importantly, I’m not encouraging any girl na makipagbreak sa boyfriend nya to be with me.

She loves him. He loves her. She likes me. I like her. This is waaaaay cool!

Teka teka, naisip ko lang. Ano bang pwede itawag sa lalakeng kabit? Hahaha.
