Last night, I received an unexpected call from an equally unexpected person. I don’t know what she’s been up to. The conversation went like this:
Me: Hello.
Her: Can i ask you something?
Me: Yeah?
Her: Mahal mo ba girlfriend mo?
Me: Why do you want to know?
Her: May nagpapatanong lang.
Me: Who?
Her: My family.
Me: Why do they want to know?
Her: Ewan ko sa kanila.
Her: Kung ayaw mo sagutin, okay lang.
Me: Yes, i love her.
Her. Okay, thanks.
That’s it. She ended up the call. It was short, and yeah, really really weird.
